Beautiful capture, but it desperately needs more contrast! Also, the copyright is too pervasive and yet easy to remove; you could use a transparent watermark instead

I am a photojournalist and as such I do not Photoshop or otherwise alter my work. WYSIWYG Old school thinking, I know, but that's the way it is.
As for the ID, I haven't yet gotten around to finding a program to mark my photos. Up to now, they were taken under contract to a particular news outlet and the copyright belonged to them, not me, so it wasn't an issue.

Wow! I generally don't love sunset shots for some reason, but there is something so evocative and powerful in this image. It reminds me of my childhood, actually. Absolutely lovely.

Thank you, you are very kind. I don't have very much right now that I can post, copyright to most of my work is held by the station or other entities. But I have a couple of good DSLRs now and I hope to get in more personal stuff when I can. I'll be trying to get some of these moments before, during, and after the weather events here in the south-central U.S. as that holds my fascination and has done so for years.

I hope so. Depends on my schedule and the storms. Living where I do, weather can get v-e-r-y active from time to time. Just have to be in the right place at the right time.

I go storm chasing from time to time with my brother. He is a stormspotter/chaser who sometimes does video for a local TV station. That's why I don't have many of my own shots, most of the stuff is copyrighted by the station.
