I like this piece quite a bit. The first thing I notice is the background. The op art stripes do a lot to really draw the viewer in. But they're almost too attention grabbing as a couple of the sprites start to blend in. I am not a fan of the black suit on a black stripe, whereas the blue shirt blue jeans would have looked great on one. I also find I can't spend a lot of time looking at it because while it's attention grabbing, there really isn't a lot going on - though maybe that's your intent.
Your beadsprites look good, though I feel the dark ones are significantly less fused than the white and grey. I find myself liking the appearance of the darker beads better than the nearly sealed semi fused ones such as white and grey. Suggestions for display would be either one side totally fused, or all of the beads fused to the point where they look like the brown or black.
Overall, this piece was well thought out and grabbed the attention of the viewer immediately. I wish there had been more for my eye to do, but I very much appreciate the whimsical simplicity of the stripes and the sprites. Well done!
