A simple macro shot taken of a flower, which I found to be quite beautiful.This is the first shot of a few I plan on uploading that I took on a day trip to the countryside (I live in the city), so I thought I'd start simple. Its a little out of focus, but I found the colours nice enough to look at.

Its the way the flower has that natural yellow outline

I dunno, dude. I kinda like the way the focus is on this. It keep it away from a bulls-eye center, which is a big problem with a lot of flower photos.
It's a marigold, right?

Y'know, I wish I knew, but I havnt actually got a clue what kind of a flower it is.
I think I'll try and look it up though, since I've got some other flower macros so I can look them all up at once
