Description
This is a work in progress.This alien creature is a tripodal, bi-tailed fungal/animal merge. It is completely fused the way all eukaryote life on Earth contains both the creature/plant's DNA as well as mitochondrial DNA. The fungal portion of the creature completely accounts for all neural functions; reflexes, decision making, sight and other senses, as well as filling most digestive and respiratory functions. The animal portion accounts for all locomotion functions. Light detecting "eyes" sprout from the creature on stalks, which can be replaced as needed. The frontal facial array senses movement and heat, as well as chemical traces (smell and taste). This creature is liquivorous, feeding on the vital fluids of its prey.

Though I have one question about this monster. "feeding on the vital fluids of its prey."
How does it take down it's prey? It has no teeth, and its claws don't seem sufficient to the task, to me.

It takes down its prey with venom. The revised work in progress I'm about to post shows this more clearly.

I really love that head but I am thinking that its alreay so different, it should probly have to thick back legs like a grazer.
