Oh wow! Look at all the snow. It's so serial. It's like the ground is weeping for all those bodies regardless of sides. Can you just imagine this beautiful spot blanketed with bodies?! I mean my god. . .

yeah - Devil's Den is a weird place. its beautiful in a weird way because its so rocky, and it's very eerie because you know hundreds of people died on that spot, all trying to kill each other, a hundred years ago.
and you're standing there, and its winter, and that tree wasn't even there yet... and I was thinking -- is this really the same place anymore? its nothing like what it was on the day of the battle. but you still feel the connection.
