2014: More quick redraws. I have to do this. Crazy red version just because I like the color contrast. Getting lazier and lazier. This meme is getting out of hand
2013: Really quick redraw. I don't really like the face in this one, but aoaoaoaoao oh well. He's a little tan, too. Β blubhlbuhblub must continue the redraw tradition that I have set for myself
2012: I just wanted to quickly drawing in a new version. I horridly rushed through it though, so the BG isn't legit; it's just to have some color there because white would be too boring
Sorry if it is messy; I didn't draw this seriously for a complete drawing like I did for the other two.
2011: ...and I still can't draw hands. And yes, I swear it's only been a year. Both digital with tablet on SAI. A year ago, I wouldn't have thought that I would draw like this..boys too pretty for their own good //shot

2012 has good coloring and popular style, and I agree it has more effort put into it as well, so it does look better. I think 2013 was when I started to experiment more with painting and wanted to go for more sombre tones instead of what I thought was juvenile bright colors at the time, but I also got really busy and couldn't commit more time to improvement. Now I embrace bright colors and a painted style, so perhaps it's time for a redraw again! I just re-did one of a red-headed female character, and I think it turned out pretty ok. Then again, I draw girls a lot more, so this might be a bit of a challenge!
