Finally the Hobbit trilogy has come to the end *sniff*. BoFA was really amazing! (though I've to admit that I still love LOTR better) and I love almost every aspect in the movie, especially how Thranduil and Legolas interact with each other. The moments between them are just......okay, not gonna spoil anything but they're totally worth to watch!Related content

From the first hobbit movie I thought Thranduil possessed a cold heart, it turns out he has one. But just long forgotten.

Aghgshshsjshshsjsjsh this is so beautiful and adorable!!!!! Everything in this picture fits perfectly together and I love all of the detail you've put into this- the shadows and the way the clothing looks is incredible!! I recently saw BOFA and I really enjoyed it! These two were definitely a highlight-I want to see the movie again! Β

thranduil is my baby but he needs to work on his goodbyes and sincereness. seriously... legolas is like yeah... i can't go back home and thranny's all cool at first. 'go find strider' oh snap, tie in. and then he just goes... 'your mom loved you'. legolas was like i was like, you should not have said anything... just nothing...

Yea LOTR is still my favorite.Β I feel that there was a bit too much CG in the hobbit.Β LOTR just felt more... like a real place... I dunno its hard to explain.Β
Regardless, I love the Hobbit and LOTRΒ and this piece is just epic

I know what you mean, dear ;;__;;. I mean, Hobbit is great! and I really admire PJ who put all the efforts into the movies within these years. But perhaps some parts are a bit overwhelmed? (both CG and context) while LOTR series are more subtle and you feel like everything there is real.
Then again, I'm not gonna judge which one is better than the another. They're both great! (and yes, thanks for all the hard works for the past 15 years! lol).

I'm so glad PJ did the movies, he is an AMAZING director/producer.Β And I have to say Smaug.... HOLLY CRAP!Β I literally had flutters in my heart from how scary he was.Β I really think the camera work and CG on him was IMPECABLE!Β They got that spot on.Β
I grew up listening and reading the LOTR and Hobbit.Β It was my bread and butter.... So having them produced and directed so well in my life time!Β Β Its beautiful XD
