Description
Aotus design for Izdawiz. Not the most decorated character ever, but I felt like he wouldn't be wearing too much clothing with all that fur. I may have to end up doing another type of monkey design for this set I'm working on. The list said "monkey," but as it would turn out, there are many types of monkeys.... Boy, I hate monkeysRelated content

Ha. I missed this when you posted it. I'm open for commissions right now, but not really any free requests. If you're interested, send me a note.

Just draw, and don't stop drawing. You'll constantly learn things as long as you keep drawing.

aww i want one of those types of monkeys. they're so cute!!! good job. i think this is the type my dad had in Vietnam that he tried to bring home with him (as well as a dog and a twelve year old boy. . .which also couldnt go home with him).

Thanks. I appreciate the compliments, but I have to admit it's heavily designed after an existing animal. I basically just anthropomorphized it and gave him a tad bit of clothing. I guess I did come up with the pose myself, though, so I should give myself some credit.

He's Great!!
I think all he needs is a funky hat and we've got our Priest Character!!!
Aotus is also a perfect name for a high priest don't you agree?
Look at those hypnotic eyes...
I also love that downturned expression on the mouth, perfect for a prophet of gloom and doom...
Awesome!!!
You rock Ed!!
And he's plenty "Monkey-enough" for me -- so you don't have to do another monkey unless you want too.

Naaaah!!
More from the Fantastic Fanatics Board
A blowgun might suit him. He might hide it in his staff.
He could have all sorts of nasty, sneaky things in there like potions, poisons, smoke bombs, darts, maybe a shiv.
What do you think Ed?

Not a bad idea for the weapon/staff. I think I'll wait until the eight are done before I tackle the weapons. That's an entirely different beast. It would be cool if we could get the 4H to turn these into figures, wouldn't it?
Aotus is a good name, but that's also the type of creature I based him on. I'm assuming in your story these are each a different race of beings. Is that correct? Still, I guess Aotus works. There was another type of monkey I may end up doing, just because they tend to have moustaches which would be perfect for a humanoid character.
