Description
Photoshop CS6: Airbrushing & Illustration. Working hours: 12hrs +/-Not going overboard with realism as I wanted to keep that cartoon-y charms of the game's cell-shade art style.
Here, I'm hoping to portray depth in Lilith - capturing that rare melancholic vibe from her. Weariness in eyes and the staring into space. A less gun-ho depiction but complex imagery of the character.

Man, can I ask you something?! How do you do that crispy effect that look like we can even see the pores? It's a specific filter? Or a brush?

The pores is brush 'debris 207' set at a low size, that alone wouldn't suffice; I used this technique as well: [link]
I'm just a hobbyist, but I learn a lot from tutorials and digital arts magazine. I don't really rely on trials and errors but instead learn how the professionals do their craft by learning from them to the nearest pixels, it's just a much faster learning curve this way - and expensive lol

Yup, I seen lots of illustration-styled art of her and I thought it would be great to depict the 'real' her like in the game, but with more details and still keep that BL animation style.

I figured something more serene is warranted in the midst of chaos in Pandora; hope you like this depth captured in her, I kinda 'caught' her looking like this is BL2 @ the base in Sanctuary. Perhaps it's just my imagination and hoping others find this glimpse of emotion as well, cheers!

Damn that's cool! The only time you see her even close to this level of emotion was after Bloodwing... I still can't say it (lol). The shot is amazing and the light from her siren tats is done perfectly. bloody brilliant, mate

Having mixed feeling though, this piece is far more successful than my two Lara arts combined
The *fail?* got me to reassess things, especially 'art' and how it meant to inspire people instead of a platform to show off skills. I'm still the same artist but will prioritize more on viewers/audience from now on.
