I did this etching too at the "Academia de San Carlos" in Mexico City. This idea around "El Rapto" ("The Kidnapping") has followed me a lot. I have made it in a lot of paintings, drawings and of course, etchings!!!.The cat figure is taking away the kids from the house in flames, but will he save them for being their new teacher or will he hurt them?. The figure running behind them has an expression of real horror.

No, it was another ink, I choosed red... this scan is truly dark, I would try to fix it.
I made a lot of printings of this same image, some in green, some in purple, oh, and some in red too.
