Description For Design II.
A commentary on traditional roles between men and women.

"yeah. well, obviously the legs are in somewhat of a "fertility position." the red inside is dyed wheat. The wheat personifies the female and her nurturing role. The structure inside is based on blood vessels, which also represents the life blood that the mother gives to create a family. You can't see it, but the legs are wrapped in 18 gauge gold wire, just as men and women are bonded by the gold wedding band. Then, the feathers protect the womans reproductive organs, just as the man is the protector of women (well... traditionally) and the feathers are also fluffed up just as men try to make themselves look bigger and tougher to attract mates."
