Yeah, um, it only took 8 hours! Yeah, thats a long time for something thats not so good, however I feel im getting slightly better at this space stuff, wish i was good already. But i'm all spaced out now, so time for something new.This pic started when i saw this: [link] in the resource section. Its there in the background, modified of course.
PLEASE CRITIQUE IT!!!!!!!! I need to learn so tell me whats good and whats bad, even if you dont like it!

I really like the whole universe concept. Yet, more color would help this one out. Overall awesome piece.

That looks pretty impressive to me, not really an expert on digital art like this so I can't really offer any constructive criticism.
The level of detail is really good though and it does look very much like a galaxy, looking forward to anymore of these you do!

I'm curious as to what the beam/cylinder is through the sun of the galaxy. The smaller sections that make up the background of the picture are fine, just something needs to be more defined, maybe take out the beam unless it's a more accurate to that of a real galaxy.

now that i look back at the picture, theres a whole lot i could have done to make it better, including remove or repair the jet stream....its supposed to be the center of a galaxy....black hole....quasar

Great starfield, and what looks to be a tach-ring used to make a galazy. Nice touch.

but no, no tech ring, tho it looks like it i guess, now that i go back, ive now realized about 20 more things i could have done to make at LEAST the galaxy look alot more natural lol, oh well, maybe ill try to fix it up later.

Tell me how you did that and I'll tell you what's good and bad...okay...well the linear structure is a bit off, I like Assymetricality and all that, but you have something in each and every corner, the top left corner being somewhat of an emphasis, and then your eye immedately moving to the right is good...but a Z-shape pattern (which you have) is good with a little exception. You need a few things that once a person whose already examined it, can look through and further examine. With the basic linear structure you have, it's merely good looking, without enough "deep" material. Other than all that...it's great! And have fun on HB,
