In the comic Spiderman and Deadpool. Deadpool takes a complete flip and decides to take the same turn as Spiderman and stops killing. I'm a little blurry about this area in the comic but he meets with his mistress and tells her about this and I guess she gifts him with a whole new look, like his outlook on life, and he isn't deformed/looking like ground beef. But it only last as long as his change does. He ends up going back to being regular Merc Deadpool and his appearance changes back to normal too but for a short period of time he looks like he did before cancer and the whole transformation thing.
