One of my favorites yet! i really like the silhouettes in this one...you always get the colors perfect lol, thats one of my weakest points i think, but great work, love seeing new stuff of yours!

Thanks, man! Color is hard to get right at first. That's why I did black and white landscapes for a long time (and just colored them using layer modes). I'm glad I feel so much more comfortable with colors now. It used to be such a struggle for me. : D

how do i make a pic in black and white with the shading and all, and then turn it into color while keeping the shading and not really having the color mess up

can you explain to me how color modes work, i attempted it and when i do the black/white layer, then add a color mode layer, the color shows but its not at all the color i want it to be

..Yeah, I can't really explain HOW they work. Personally if I were to convert from black and white to color, I'd use layer modes like Soft Light and Color. But they never come exactly as the color you picked. In fact, they might be quite far from the color you picked. So, try to adjust the brightness and saturation of the color you picked and try over and over until you get something that looks like the color that you'd prefer. I really can't explain how they work though. But you kind of start to get the hang of it as you keep doing. Personally I've been using Photoshop for multiple years (4-5 or so) and that's why it's somewhat easier for me to operate, since I already know quite a bunch of it.

I was actually thinking of Lucky Luke when I drew in the silhouette. And in the start it actually looked a lot like him.
