this is a remake of an old painting i never uploaded: i.imgur.com/BehkfPd.pngand if you think his hand looks wrong somehow, you're not alone. i spent probably half an hour just trying to get the hand to look right and it still doesn't. i think his forearm is too long actually but im too lazy to go back and fix it. i might paint over this in the future but i kinda like the way it looks as a drawing

So much character in the face! He seems like he has a story to tell~ ^^
As for the hand, I think it's because at that angle only the second and third phalanges (the top and second folds of the fingers) should be visible, some of the palm below where the hilt rests might also be shown but less of the knucles and dorsal.
