Even someone like Wally had to sit down after hours of evacuating civilian after civilian.
His muscles trembled and his legs hurt. He’d have to eat soon.
Sliding down the wall behind him, he just took a moment to…well, he just took a moment. Sweat dripped down his face and he felt as if his lungs might burst any moment while a kind of daze took over his brain.
He’d just rest for a second. Just a moment.
I had a mighty need to draw tired Wally and then Bats came along to help out his strained muscles. Who am I to deny him that, heh

Very good work at showing their exhaustion, not just with Wally, but I can see that in Bruce's face. It's beautiful how he's helping Wally feel better. Wally's face is heartbreaking, so well done, even his posture looks tired. Very interesting piece, I really liked it.

I gotta say I kinda dislike the pic now - don't get me wrong I love the outlines and the coloring process was fun but I feel like I'd have flt more comfortable uploading it with just flats haha
