i think the letter box effect would be a little better if the right side wasnt completely black. also, the pink isn't helping the starburst.
the colors are great, and so is the text.

It's a cool deviation, I like the sattelite... not my favourite colours but that's just my problem. overall it's a cool painting.

I like the lines coming out from behind the satelite... I would haved used colors similar to the redish-orangish background though.

The lines radiating out from the satellite would work better if they weren't greeny & purpley, IMO anyway. As for the blurry text, I think it works ok with the clean satellite.

I think it's a good start... I think that the text being blurry doesn't work so well with the sharp satelite... Maybe make the lines coming from the satelite a shade of orange or something too, then it wouldn't look so out of place there. Just my thoughts,

its nice.. but i dont' like the lines coming out from the satelite, they just don't grab me. i think it takes away from the sun / star in teh background and i think it would look better without

the font and satelite are verily cool and the sun in behind is awesome
