Hooo I thought about loading up some photographs and wanted to start with this one, because it´s story is interessting - if someone want to read it. Excuse my English - I need practise...

This here is "my" baby blackbird Lele. I raised her in summer 2006.
We had a long heatwave in summer 2006, so many adult birds left their nests with their hatch to survive on their own. They didn´t manage to find enough food for their babies.
When my father found her and her brother Findevogel, we decided to keep and raise the babybirds. Each one ate about 70 grashoppers a day, and I had to catch them first!
Her brother died 5 days after finding them, and I still do not know why. He was just a little baby blackbird, but for me it was like apocalypse.

But Lele grew up. I teached her how to fly (very funny if you can´t do it yourself XD) and how to catch food and at the beginning of september she was old enough to let her go...

Now Lele lives in the gardens of our neightbourhood. Sometimes we meet and greet each other. She still knows who am I. It´s beautiful and a unforgetable memory to me.

It is not easy rasing a babybird. Only 30% survive. I am glad that Lele and I did 50%.
