I've never drawn a macro character before - I had a great time playing around with the scale in this painting!

The quality of this work is very eye pleasing, especially the lighting and the reflections.
It must be interesting to watch a toy-sized world below you. Luckily for the citizens, he isn't interested in moving that paw a little to his left. I find the little beams on his hand a little amusing. Probably flashlights from tiny campers who got a big surprise on their trip. (Though those have to be some powerful flashlights comparing the beams to the spotlights.)

Sure thing! I use Photoshop CS6, and the resolution of the original, full-size image is 10,000 x 7055 pixelsΒ (~33 x 23.5 inches or ~847 x 597 mm) at 300 dpi.
