Was really happy with a previous commission by Scruffyronin ofAkiko Daimon , so I decided to commission him again.
This time around, I asked for a buff and muscular Chun-Li in an Alpha inspired Bikini. Chun-Li was got the most votes in a recent poll I ran about what character to commission more artwork for . *scruffyronin submitted this sketch with a pair of pose options. They were both nice and I opted for the classic kicking pose. Also reminded the artist of the bikini I had requested and he incorporated it into this sketch . I asked him to make some adjustments based on that pic, remove the bracelets, and change the angle of the leg in the next sketch . Here's all the works in progress leading up to the final version. Gotta say that I dig this piece quite a bit. Scruffyronin also posted this to his gallery as Bikini Chun-Li . Made a few changes to it before posting here. I really, really like this.
The body lines are so sleek. Her face has a great balance of beauty and power. Outstanding example of cel coloring. The time-lapse effect on the kicking leg comes off very well. Oh, and excellent example of underboob.

I have to say.... Chun-Li is one of my all-time fav muscle chicks...
Still remember seeing her strong looking biceps for the first time in Street Fighter Alpha.... Close to the beginning of my muscle chick fetish...
I guess it's one of the reasons I prefer the leaner girls more than the super beefy ones....
Comments for the original artist: One think that sorta stood out to me.... is her kicking leg looks noticeably shorter than the other leg. Looks like the intention the artist had was to have the kicking leg bent....
I feel like this would have been better illustrated if some of those "flashes" of the leg were stretched out and longer in length... Of course.. artists may have noticed.. but may have just felt lazy... which I understand.
But still very sexy pic and GREAT pose!

I love the blur effect with her leg .. I have on occasion suggested to artists to paint Alacrity in partial blur, to represent the speed she's known for, but most prefer to retain sharp detail
