Hi again...Here is a space theme that I did today that has a impact theme going on. I realised after that a planet impact should rly have a shock wave effect but couldnt be bothered to change it so here is what I came up with...

VERY good textures, transitions, and colors, although there are some thigns you should clear up to make a clean piece.... I would make the outser glow of the planet a buch smaller- a tad less bright and smaller. Then it looks like an atmosphere. Im also not a fan of the blur effect you used. Its cool, but it hink you did such a good job on the cracks themselves (something not many can do), i would get rid of it because they are being blocked. Lastly, did you use full quality settings on your render?
I honestly think that if you learned just some of the simple quality stuff like that you would be better than 95% of all spaceartists on dA. You have many of the grand, complicated, and difficult stuff down, such as transitions and explosions. Good job im watching you

Thank you for your positive comments. Unfortunately, I would love to do more space themes and hopefully one day become as good as the space theme artists on dA but it justs takes up so much time! I freelance as a web designer so I mean this peice for example I only spent about 5 hours on.
The Terragen render isnt on full quality since I dont have the registered version of the program

Thx, was just photoshop and terragen for the land. Still can't rly get the hand of that terragen program! It's editing capibilities seem a bit limited.
