My enthusiasm a release
of the energy that resonates within
Months have passed before I had my last peace
Peace is what I have now
A deep inner calm, my haven of zen within.
I show it to no one, for it is mine and mine alone.
Wisdom I will share when the mood crosses me.
When the time and place is right
For my placidity to emerge again.
My happiness burst and beams from me
Eccentric I may seem and probably am.
My enthusiasm is unquarreled
Embracing the task before me.
This is what work should be
A necessary task of enjoyment.
Not a slithering burden of drudgery.
A window, a glimpse I may chooe to show
Everyone, every group sees somthing different of me.
All the same person, no lies or deception.
But different all the same.
My coworkers for now see a fun crazy guy.
Keeping the work place alive, jumping ahead and back again.
Letting no one's eyelids fall heavy with boredom.
My close frieds who know my past,
See the warrior, I suppose one could say,
Placid and wise, yet feirce when the territory of my peace is crossed,
They know what I have been through and have seen my pain
They have been there as I fought through it against all odds.
I've come out on top my happiness now shines.
To the ones under my wing.
Mostly ilent I speak to uplift pirits, close wounds and shed wisdom
Splitting the ignorance that many have tried to force feed them.
They see a guardian. A citadel upon which they may pull themselves
Out of their maelstrom.
In which fate tossed them,
a helping hand with which I help them to regain their feet,
To learn from their mistakes or become stronger than they once were.
And what do I see? Everything and nothing
Everything that I have come to know of myself
And practically nothing of what many have come to see of me.
Sitting as the lotus in the shelter of my inner being.
I listen to the resonance singing to me
My peace, My strength, My wisdom.
