n shadow you cast me,
In shadow I found a semblance of peace.
In the darkness I found the answer.
In the shadow I was invisible to you.
Yet somehow still bound.
Invisible in shadow, you won't notice I'm no longer around
So in shadow I stayed, it surrounded my heart and soul.
And now I found my chance, I've silently slipped away.
Left you fumbling in the darkness to find me.
I am accustomed to the darkness, you are not.
You're weakness revealed.
For a breif moment I was in the light, lost and confused.
Then I found the place where I could return to my shadow.
away from you.
You made me invisble, wishing to cause me pain.
But you've found I like it better that way.
I am dark always have been and always will be.
You just put me where I could be free.
That was not your intent, ultimately your mistake.
Because now I am not like you, dark but not filled with hatred.
My rage only flows towards those who warrant it noone else.
I've found my way in the shadow
I'll spend my days in the shadow
And be wiser and more free than you could ever be.
