The pain of rejectionhurts most when it is from someone
that you know and trust
like a rock in your stomach, unlike any other pain
Even when it is from someon you don't know,
it still hurts, maybe even more
Being pushed away, and treated as diseased
The cause may not be your fault
It may be something you did
It may be something you didn't do
It may just be because somebody about something that never happened
Just a rumor, spread by the venom of the tongue
Rejection isn't always being pushed away
It can also be in the simple form of teasing and sometimes violence
