I did a series of horse painting for my watercolor class, posting my favorite three of the five.

This one was the most illustrative of all my horses.. The technique is one I don't remember the name of, but it involved soaking your paper with water, splashing colors on it, then scraping up and out highlights. I thought it'd turn out a great mess, but then discovered I really liked the loose result..

I did have a reference from my books, but this painting turned out nothing like it XD I only had so much control over the paints..
