So... Yeah. This is Ryo from Crowscare! Anyone heard of it? 😲 I won't spoil it if not. But... To those who do - spoiler warning! - Ryo is a scarecrow/Human hybrid... I think? I'm going to need to fact check! But I think he wants a mom. 😊 Don't know if that was a spoiler or not, but - I'm putting in spoiler warning anyway. 😅

Explanation of AU/ Story:

So... Ryo is a code mark and a strong one at that. His powers are based on emotion similar to a gold mark. The main villain ( gotta work on the villain ) is a man that Ryo's dad once knew in the past! He runs into Ryo and finds out he's his dad's son. With this info, he offers Ryo a chance to learn to control his mark. Ryo, learning his lesson from his experiences with Venna, ( Don't wanna spoil the villain in Crowscare ) - Ryo is a little hesitant to trust him. His dad and Ingram hear Ryo screaming, and rush to him. Rune sees the villain - let's call him... Malik - pulling Ryo with him. Angry by this, Rune teleported - thanks to Wyn, ( my oc ) in front of him. He glared at Malik, " Malik... Let him go. " Malik smirked, " Hey. Old friend. Good to see you. " Ryo suddenly teleported to Ingram and Wyn as the two talk/argue. " Why did you come here?! I told you - I don't want this to effect my son. " Ingram gives him a look. " ... Sons! " Rune corrected himself. Malik looked at Ryo, " ... So... You have life magic now...? I don't recall that being in the magic school we went to. " Rune growled, " I'll have you know, I learned it after magic school, Malik. Now stop avoiding my question! What. Are. You. Doing. Here?! " Malik points to Ryo. " I'm here for him. " Malik chuckled, " ... He has something within him that I need. And in exchange - I'll turn him human. " Rune growled again. " Don't you DARE!! I don't trust you with him! Remember what happened with my last son?! You killed him! " Ryo was confused, and thought in his thoughts, " Last son...? I didn't know I had a blood related brother. " Malik chuckled and smirked, " ... Try and stop me, Rune. " He used his magic and impaled Rune in the shoulder. " Ack! " Rune groaned and fell on his back. " Dad!! " Ryo suddenly blasted Malik away, and rushed to him. " ... R-Ryo... I am sorry... I have to leave you now. " Rune weakly said. " ... But... Why? " Ryo asked, tears streaming down his face. " ... I know you are going to be... A great mark. But you can't allow... Malik... To take you... " Rune said, tearing up himself, " My poor sweet boy... Be good. Be... Safe... Okay...? " Rune asked, weak. " ... Dad! Don't go! * sniff * Please... " But Rune didn't respond. He put a hand on his son's head... He was too far gone. " ... Forgive me... Goodbye. " Rune said, dying. " Dad! DAD!! " Ryo was crying into his cold chest. Malik said, trying to get Ryo to follow, " ... Come, Son. I can give you a better life. A new body. You will be human! A code mark human. " Ryo didn't respond. " ........ " He was dead silent. " ... You... MURDERER!! " Ryo snapped, turning fast! " YOU... WILL... PAY!!! " Ryo snapped, shouting in bloody murder. " Ryo! " Wyn shouts. Ingram yells, " Calm down! " The Scarecrow was too angry to listen. His mark, responding to his rage and hatred, started to turn the whole area dark... Wyn ran up to Ryo and hugged him to calm him down. " Shush. Shush. It'll be okay. " Wyn took Ryo, running and Ingram followed with Rune in his arms. After escaping, Ryo couldn't sleep no matter what he did. He spent sleepless nights, planning his revenge! After the funeral, Ryo couldn't bare to go. He wanted to see his dad. But... He knew he couldn't do that anymore... He decided to visit the grave once a day. Or twice. Just cause.

------ ( I don't know how old Ryo is - I think he's 10 or so. So I'll just say, he's 12 and about to hit puberty. ) ------

------- 2 years later -------

Ryo walked up to the grave, " ... Hey dad. " Ryo said, " ... Sorry it's been awhile. I've been busy. " He grumbled. " Ingram keeps saying that I will get pub-er-ty soon. I don't even know what that even is! " Ryo said, calming down. " But... Whatever it is... My friends may get it soon too. Probably. " Ryo didn't know what puberty was, but Wyn was going to explain things once he gets back. " Well... I gotta go now. " Ryo said after 26 minutes of talking. Love you, Dad. See you tomorrow. " He placed something on the tombstone and walked off.
