Chapter 1Kalki
Part 1
"Dear Diary,
Today will be my first day at my new high school, called Element High, and I'm very nervous. This is a completely new experience for me. All my friends are going to another school, called Deviant High. I wish I could go to school with them, however, my older sister Isabelle is already a Senior at Element High, so I had no real choice. My sister is a really great person and she's taken really good care of me, so I'm sure she'll help me,..."
The words of her dairy were quickly halted by the motion of her sister snatching the diary out of her hands. "Hurry up, if you don't start getting ready not, we're gonna be late," Isabelle said to her. "Ok, ok, i'll start getting ready," Kalki said, irritated, "Just gimme back my diary," Isabelle threw the diary on the floor as she left the room, closing the door behind her.
Kalki picked up the diary and continued, "...get through school. Well, I have to start getting ready now. I'll tell you all that happens when I get home," She closed and locked her diary and put it away under her bed. She got dressed into her uniform and got her things together. "Hurry up or I'm leaving without you!" Isabelle yelled out. "Ok, I'm ready," Kalki said as she ran out of her room, heading to school with her sister.
The two arrived at the school, Element High, which was a massive school building with while walls and red rooftops, but the outside appeared empty. "Are we here on the right day? There's no one here," Kalki wondered. "No, we're just really late," Isabelle said, "Let's hurry,"
"Halt!" someone called out to them, a boy about 17 years old, with a black forelock and spiked bracelets that go over the sleeves of his uniform. "Hey, Jacob, it's been a while," Isabelle said to the boy. "Isabelle? Hey, it's great to see you," Jacob said, "I haven't seen you since last semester. Oh? This must be your little sister, Kalki. I heard so much about you from your sister. I'm Jacob, the hall monitor; I make sure that justice is always served in these halls,"
"But we're outside," Kalki said.
There was an odd silence...
...
"Well, you two should get to class now," Jacob said, breaking the silence, "I'll write you guys a pass this time, but don't get used to it, the halls won't be kept safe if I keep letting laws slide. Have a good day, now,"
"Ok, see ya," Isabelle said, dragging Kalki away, "get your ass to class. Heh, that rhymed, but seriously, get to class," Isabelle and Kalki headed to their classes.
Kalki walked into the classroom, when an ominous silence fell across the room. "I'm glad you decided to show up to class today, Miss Hilton," Kalki sat down and started listening to the teacher. "As I was saying, we will be doing Pre-Algebra for this semester. Everyone should already have their Math books that we're given to them after registration, so take them out,"
The class reached inside of their backpacks and put the books on their desks in front of them. The teacher walked by Kalki and said, "It looks like we have a comedian in the class. Miss Hilton, last I recall, I asked to take out your Math book, not,..." he stared at the cover of the book she took out, "Star Ocean Till The End Of Time Official Strategy Guide" She looked at the book she mistakenly took out and started blushing, as the class began to laugh. "Now, if you please," the teacher said, "take out the book I asked you to take out," She looked inside of her backpack, looking for the Math book, but it was no where to be found. "Crap,.." she thought, "I must've grabbed the wrong book. What am I gonna do?"
She feels a nudge on the back of her head. She turned around and saw a boy with long black hair covering his face, "...Here, take it," She took the book from him and opened it on her desk, following the teacher's lesson.
After the class ended, they all walked out of the classroom. Kalki walked over to the long black haired boy and handed him the book, "Thanks, I didn't know what I would have done if I didn't have that book," she said to him, as he put away the book. He looked silently at her. So, what's your name?"
"..."
The boy was pushed out of the way by another boy, this one with short black hair and glasses, "So, you like Star Ocean Till The End Of Time?"
"Yes," she said to him.
"Great, I like that game, too, so, how many of the endings did you get? I got 18 different ending and I thought there might have been more, oh sorry, I'm rambling, my name is Kanezaku, maybe we could hang out!" he said to her.
"Uhh,... maybe later," she said to Kanezaku.
"Oh, I didn't catch your name," Kanezaku said to her.
"It's Kalki," she said
"Kalki, huh?" he said, "What an interesting name. I think I heard it in a book about Hindu philosophy,"
"That's interesting," Kalki said, "I need to go somewhere now, see ya," she walked away, trying to find the long haired boy, but couldn't find him. "Hmm,..., I should go to my next class now. Which one was it again?" she asked herself as she pulled the class schedule out of her pocket, reading it:

P2 English 9:10-10:10 Room 22

"Ok, I need to go to English now," Kalki said as she ran to Room 22. As she ran into the room, the teacher said, "You're 5 minutes late, Miss Hilton,"
"Man, I just can't get a break today,"
