Chapter 3:
Kalki
Part 3

Not the best day in the world for poor little Kalki-chan. She's been late to all her classes today, just barely made it to P.E., the class she wasn't really looking for, but, it could be just fine. She was a little nervous about changing in front of other girls, she wasn't especially proud of her body, but she had a corner locker, so she didn't have a lot to worry about, and at least it's just girls. She got dressed into her gym uniform, even less modest than the regular uniform, but it's only 30 minutes she would have to wear it, so she was fine with it. She left to the field and the class had to run laps that day, for a small fitness test. The girls began running their laps.

In a classroom across from the field, two of the guys were looking at the girls on the field with a pair of binoculars. A third guy walked over and took the binoculars from them and looked at the girls. "Give those back, Kraidar," one of the boys said to the third.
"Shut up, Owen," Kraidar said to him as he looked out towards the field. He spotted Kalki running, or, at this point, trying to. Kraidar smiled and said, "She looks like a nice one," as he threw the binoculars back to Owen. The teacher called out, "Owen, Ryu, Kraidar, let's focus on our work now," The three guys began to do their work, as a long haired boy in the back gazed at Kraidar.

While she was doing her running, Kalki, out of breath, tripped on a rock and fell over, scrapping her knee. She stood up, not trying to show the others that she was in pain, and resumed walking laps. "Are you alright?" a girl said to her. Kalki turned to the girl and said,"Yeah, I’m fine," Kalki remembers who the girl was. "Wait, I remember you," Kalki said to the girl, "Is your name Kay?"
"Yes, that's my name," Kay replied to her, “What’s your name?"
"Kalki" she replied to Kay.
"Ok then, Kalki, let me help you," Kay said as she picked her up. Kalki was very surprised at Kay's strength. Kay brought Kalki back to the locker room and layed her down on a bench inside. "That should be cleaned and wrapped up so that it won't get infected," Kay said, getting some water and soap from the showers. She cleaned Kalki's scrapped knee and patted it dry.
"Now, to bandage it," Kay said, as she took off her shirt, revealing that her chest is covered with gauze. She unwrapped a part of it and wrapped it around her leg. "There," Kay said, "Your leg should be fine now,"
"Uhh..."Kalki said, "Thank you. Why is your chest..."
"Wrapped in gauze but not injured?" Kay finished Kalki's question, "I have no real money to spend on clothing. My parents died when I was ten and I was taken care of by my friend’s parents. With me there, along with my friend and her sister, her parents didn’t have enough money for all of us. So, when I turned 15, I moved out on my own. I had a small part time job, so I made enough money to eat, but that’s pretty much it. I found a bunch of gauze for a small price, so I use that for most of my underclothing,”
“I see,” Kalki said, “I’m sorry,”
“Don’t worry about it,” Kay said, “I care more about others than myself,”
“But, “Kalki said, “I thought you were the most beautiful and popular girl in the school,”
“Beautiful, maybe,” Kay replied, “But not popular. I’m gonna give you a word of advice, since you’re the new girl on campus. Watch out for a guy named Kraidar. He’s the heir of a multi-million dollar corporation. He’s trouble, trust me,”
“Ok, I will,” Kalki said as the bell at the school rang, “Well, that’s the bell. I should get dressed and head home,” Kalki and Kay got dressed and left, “See you tomorrow,” Kay said as she left,

“Bye,” Kalki said as she walked around the gym, heading towards the exit of the school. A guy with a slight tan and long white hair walked over to her.”Hi there,” he said to her, “I couldn’t help but notice that you’re walking around here alone. Do you need any help?”
“I’m ok,” Kalki said to him, “I’m just heading home,”
“Here, let me walk you home,” he said, grabbing her hand.
“You never said who you were,” She said,
“How rude of me,” he said, “My name is Kraidar, the heir of Black Ray Incorporated, and you must be Kalki”
“Kraidar,” she said, letting go of his hand, “I should be getting home, I’m gonna be late for dinner,”
Kraidar grabbed her and said, “I’m sure your mommy won’t mind if you’re a little late,”
“I don’t have a mother,” Kalki said, “Now let go of me,”
“I want you,” Kraidar said.
“I want you,” Kalki said,”To let go of me!”

“Being the heir of a major corporation entitles me to get whatever I want,” he said as he held on to her. He began to take off her shirt and grope her. Kalki screamed and Kraidar punched her and knocked her to the ground. He started to take off her skirt until he was interrupted by someone knocking him over. Kalki looked up and saw who it was; it was the long black haired boy. “How dare you try to stop me, boy,” Kraidar said to the boy and the boy pushed him against the wall and pulled a razor out of his pocket and held it to his face, He said to Kraidar, “Listen, you spoiled brat, she’s not interested in you. Just go home and ask daddy to get you a stuffed animal and you can rape that,” Scared, Kraidar ran off, yelling, “You haven’t seen the last of me, either of you,”
“Here, I’ll walk you home,” he said to Kalki as the two of them walked away.

After a brief walk, they arrive at her house.”Thank you very much for helping me,” Kalki said, grateful, “Is there anything I can do for you?”
“It’s alright,” he said, walking away.
“Wait!” Kalki called out, “Can I at least know your name?”

“Zeeel,” he said, as he disappeared into the darkness the evening brought.

Kalki entered the house and went into her room. She put away her stuff and changed into a T-shirt and baggy pants. Her sister walked in her room and said, “Well, how was your first day of high school?”
“It was alright,” Kalki replied.
“Did you make any friends?” Isabelle asked her
She looked out the window and, at that moment, a bat flew across the full moon.

She smiled and said, “I sure did,”
