Kay
Part 1

The sun rose upon the school in the cold Thursday morning. Kay stood on the rooftop of the school awaiting the start of school. At that time Zeeel arrived on the roof and said, "What brings someone like you up here this early in the morning?"

"I should be asking you that question," Kay remarked.

"I'm an early bird," Zeeel said, "What about you?"

"Nomad," Kay said, "Is there a problem with me being here?"

"Yes, this is my spot," Zeeel said, lying down.

"Oh?" Kay said, leaning over him, "I can't be up here?"

"No, go away," Zeeel said, "Or, better yet, stay right where you are for a while. You're keeping the sun out of my eyes,"

"Whatever," Kay said, walking away, leaving the roof. As she was climbing down the ladder, she overheard voices coming from the window of the office a few feet away.

"This situation with Kraidar is a problem,"

"Agreed. If word of this hits the press, this school's gonna lose the funding from Black Ray Inc. and we're gonna go under,”

“This event must have been faked,”

“How could you say that, Administrator?”

“Was there any witnesses?”

“There was one witness. A girl named Kalki,”

"Kalki? She's a freshmen, isn't she?"

"Yes, but she dislikes Kraidar. She's not gonna say that Kraidar was innocent,"

"Oh, not after we're done with her,"

"Uh-oh," said Kay, as she landed on the ground, "If it was staged, then they're gonna get the truth out of her. If only she didn't know about it, then she can't spill the beans,"

"...!"

"She knows," Kay said, struck with inspiration "but I don't," She grabbed her cell phone and made a phone call. A guy answered on the other side and said, "Hello, Kanezaku speaking,"

"It's Kay," she said to him, "I need you to do some things for me,"

"What's up, girl," Kanezaku said, "What do you need me to do?"

"First, do you have that wig from Halloween?" Kay asked him.

"Of course," Kanezaku said, "That was an expensive wig. I wouldn't just throw it away,"

"Bring it to me at the cafe by the school," Kay said, "I'll be there at 7:30,"

"Alright, that's not a problem," Kanezaku said, "May I ask why?"

"I'll explain after school," Kay said, "Also, you know where Kalki lives, right?"

"Yes," Kanezaku said, "But I'm not, like, stalking her or anything. I just happen to know, that's all,"

"I'm happy that you do," Kay said, "I need you to send her something,"

"What is it?" Kanezaku asked.

"Send Harold over there," Kay said, "And don't fail me. This is a very important mission,"
She closed the phone and head towards Kalki's complex, making a stop at a cosmetics store on the way there, preparing for the mission at hand.
