Description

Here is a group of ally characters set to appear in Episode 14 of Freedom Squadron: Liberanger. They are the Veloci Raptor Band. Before joining sides with Hosbrai, Manager Cnidarius used to be the manager of this band until he was kicked off. In the upcoming chapter, Cnidarius sends a monster to get revenge on this band on the Planet Vandelay.

From left to right is Crocodrummer, Veloci Rocker, DJ Macaw, and Tubacobra.

I came up with the former and latter while the two center characters are from Griffguy26 . They were originally meant to be monsters in Draconightger who owuld have turned good, but they were moved over to Liberanger and instead are friendly aliens from the start.

When drawing Crocodrummer, I had decided that she should have blonde hair and an orange sleeveless shirt with an image of a sharp tooth on it. As for Tubacobra, I did look up images of real tubas for drawing reference for the tuba, but saw there were a lot of details that would be hard for me to put in, so that is why the tuba looks as simply drawn as it is. When drawing Tubacobra himself, I used the Hebitsukai Voyager from Uchu Sentai: Kyuranger (AKA, the Cosmic Cobra Zord from Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury) for reference in drawing him, I based his white hair off of Naga from Kyuranger, and his dark blue shirt with red fangs on it is a reference to how in Cosmic Fury, Ollie fills the role of Naga for the Hebitsukai Metal saga from Kyuranger.

When drawing Veloci Raptor, I attempted to give him feather-like fingers since in more recent years, scientists discovered that velociraptors might have actually had feathers on their hands.
