Description Now here's how to do the buckle and strap:
I've drawn the strap in the outline color (#1) in the first picture.
Then I colored the strap with color #2 and #3 on the forward facing shoe. I used color 2 along the top edge and color 3 in the pixels just under the second color.
On the shoe positioned away from us I used 3 colors. I outlined the top edge of the strap in color 2, repeated with color 3 and then finished with color 4.
In the third picture I recolored the straps. And in the last section I drew buckles. and added them to the straps.

For the forward facing shoe I just drew two dots for the buckle. on the one facing sideways I did a small oval.
When you draw buckles you can use squares, ovals or dots. If you're unsure which looks best I recommend drawing the buckle in the extra canvas around the shoe and then cutting and pasting it onto the shoe. that way if you don't like the shape you can just click undo and draw a new one.
