This speaks to me the most amongst your work
even if people don't see it for what it is
it is still a masterpiece,
to me it is golden
it holds rhythm
of life and light.
it's inspiring..
enlightening.

It's like a waterfall not just is flowing by....but dying in one big rush....
Beautiful.....and comforting....

beautiful eliq.. that is a really wild tree. I love how angular this and the brush strokes placed seemingly so neatly.

Your reoccuring 'lone tree' theme here. Really digging the the texture in the tree and ground, the cutout-like contours. Id like to see more paintings 'constructed' with that stroke technique, it has a lot of potential. I think you were intending the extreme contrast in textures of tree to sky, a study maybe, to see how it looked/felt.

Yes sir, you're right on. Its good to hear from you, Mr. Free. I thought you might have left da forever. I'm glad you're still here. And I will fulfill that request. I will work on some new paintings with that texture tecnique.

I like the texture in the tree. But I don't feel that the mixing of styles is working in this piece.

The fact that you're using such different brush work on the different parts. The textured trees, the soft, smooth sky. Combing too many extreme contrasts may result in the painting looking like it was cut and paste from other paintings.

i think the contrast in subjects in the painting are what actually makes this unique. the tree stands out from the painting, which is daring for a painter to do amidst painters that seem to want to dwell on normality. the tree looks as if you could actually go around to the back of it and have a seat. it makes your mind work, which for me at least is rare in paintings. but maybe im just a stupid head

You're not a stupid head at all. I really appreciate your comment and I agree with you. Thank you for stopping by

I just don't think it meshes well.

thats true, but even in real life there are all kinds of different textures all mixed together. I actually wanted extreme contrast with the sky and tree. Thanks a lot for your comment

Look at [link] . Jacks a friend of mine in Vancouver. His work definitely relates to this piece.

The colours are beautiful, and the brush work is very original. The design gives me a feeling of instability. Great work.
