Description
just the thing for the on-the-go commuter worried about his/her face. Done with plywood and a compact mirror. A little something for the individual who's not got enough to worry about already...(somewhere else one may worry about rape, malaria, or air strikes...) Or perhaps it's merely a useful addition to the new city of Ottawa...Related content

you should have taken the picture from a angle so that you are not visable!!

This is great. I think a great follow up photo would be to catch someone making a vanity check in it.

I definitely could use one of those every 100 feet where I am. I admit it. I suffer from Vanity.

I love my ego! I can barely resist my own charm, I can't expect anyone else to.
Well done.

I'm sure the girls in my school would love this.
I can't go through a single class without having the majority of the girls in my class checking their faces in a mirror every 10 if not 5 minutes...
It gets so incredibly annoying.

Interesting.
Although I think the more interesting point would be why do we feel that we need something like this? Is it something deeper than just vanity?
I know when I check a mirror, it's not to see how gorgeous I look, but it is to see if anything is out of place and the reassurance makes me more secure.

i agree with you on the point of not looking to see if you look gorgeous, but to see if something is out of place, lipstick smeared, mascara flakes, you know. =]

Exactly. I think it speaks to more our insecurity than our vanity.

Over on Bank and (I believe) Slater. It was between the Starbucks and the Asian food shop that sells (ewwww) 'used manga'.
