curious, if i may ask , about your process here.
what is your goal on step two ? so like --
one step one, clearly rough draft, right?
so then on step two do you just edit that rough draft and plot colors roughly and plan the background??
then on step three do you just draw over top your step three rough colored sketch?
hope i'm not being annoying xD i'm just trying to understandΒ
because the wayΒ i do it takes me so long and i'm trying to find other routes
to take to make my process a lot quicker. and USUALLY the longest is plotting colors and planning the bg!Β

Youre correct. On step two I colour sketch to try various combination of colours, roughly choose palette, background, put shadows. For me it is more comfortable to do it on sketch. Yes, then I just line art over it
