Had you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.
Have you ever open the customize option in wacom settings, only to feel dumb and not knowing what the hell are your doing? Went to forums, and nobody gets what you are talking about? Miss your old tablet already, but you cant use it back because you sold it? Want to have a retro feeling of old intuos 3 in the beggining of the stroke, with more control using the advantage of new 2048 levels of pressure?.
FEARRRRR NOOOTTT, A Digital Berserk brand has that settings just for you, especially customized to get that retro feel that your hipster pen needs. To have a pen just like Elsevilla( the pen only has same pressure, you wont get the same Awesomnessss as him, either his anatomical errors and bad taste of colors, viewer discretion is advised)
You dont need to pay anything, only takes a little of your time and... coufghhh(your soul) cooouufghhh.
Click now and you will receive a small tutorial, and as a special offer we will include images of the steps, and a recorded musical video vhs cassette with the performance of elsevillas in the shower with his mayor hit, por que sera? cover( vhs cassette gift wont apply in countries outside of Elsevilla living room, viewer discretion is advised, (love typing that,(a parenthesis inside a parenthesis ...parenthisception)))

As much as it pains me to part with my soul, I am eternally grateful for this tutorial. I'm using a Bamboo, so I had to use a third-party tool ( [link] ) to edit the curves, but I can confirm it works all the same.

Neat! Works for me. I also have an Intuos 2 and although it's slightly different, I already feel that it changes the way that I handle my line weights. Much appreciated!

didnt knew it will help in old tablets, maybe its because they changed the pressure sensor to something more customizable, old dyas was different just to move the bar, but now that really wont help in control, just make all the stroke more harder.

Unfortunately, I only have a Wacom Bamboo Capture Pen Tablet (longest name ever), so this is unfortunately of no value to me.

Saludos, Else!!

I have an Intuos 4, and I'm noticing the active area is getting considerably more abuse on one side than the other. I don't think the right hand side of the active area gets used at all. What causes and/or controls that?

elsevilla In reply to MagusFerox [2013-05-23 08:58:26 +0000 UTC]
Can you explain it more, i dont understand well.

MagusFerox In reply to elsevilla [2013-05-23 09:41:18 +0000 UTC]
When I say the active area, I mean the part of the tablet that you use to draw with, which is about 5 inches wide. It's like only the first 3 inches of it on the left hand side gets drawn on. The size of the active area doesn't sync up with the size of my screen. Does that make more sense?
By the way, your art is awesome and you're awesome for answering my silly questions. <3

elsevilla In reply to MagusFerox [2013-05-23 14:11:22 +0000 UTC]
Thats strange, usually the active area its all the square, maybe your tablet its defective, had you tried contacting wacom, if you can paint on each corner, something its really wrong with the tablet, that its bad, im also dealing with some problems with my cintiq they havent fixed yet, since serptaember.

Oh noes, I hope it's not defective. It's been working well enough for me otherwise, I was just worried that I might wear it out faster.

You need to calibrate your tablet to your monitor my dear!
Now this one talks about calibrating your pen to two monitors, but You can at least see the settings tabs in which you'll need to locate and experiment with
[link] ! (it's a tutorial made by Wacom company).
Mine automatically calibrated when i plugged in, but i am left handed so always had to change orientation.

I have a question, I'm not actually sure if you or anyone in the world ever know what I'm talking about but I have a wacom related problem xD
I've lately been using double screens, One for drawing and one for everything else, But the tablet is going corner to corner; so basically left corner for one screen and right corner for the other screen.
Safe to say this is very irritating and I have no idea if I can change the settings for this or not xD
Oh and the tablet I use is a Bamboo Wacom Pen, CTL-470 Model.
Sorry for asking this but I just don't know what to do xD
And while I'm stuck with this one, I'd like to be able to use it right =3=;

im not sure of bamboo, but there is a setting in callibrating the pen or buttons, its like toggle from screen to screen instead of the mouse option, its the one you have right now, because i dont know bamboo, i dont know the right word, and easy way to figure this out its, unplug one screen, then open your bamboo options panel, memorize it, then plug it again, and the extra options will appear, turn off the mouse mode im talking about, and asign a button click for the toggle option.

This might help. It's rather long but within the first minute you get a few of your actual Pen settings- there is option available for All Monitors, Monitor, Or Portion. Hope that helps

I was shocked! I set it like you said and my control in Photoshop was astounding. Its like I went to a new level. And I draw and ink my comics in Manga Studios and it even worked great there. I had a hard time doing hatching and this makes it SO easy, the lines don't change sizes as easy and the speed I can mark between lines is wonderful!
Thank you so much!
