It's personally easier for me, but that's because my tech isn't efficent enough to deliver like a pencil can. That said, I don't draw large enough so my drawings also look really terrible as soon as I try to start inking (or possibly it's because I just don't have a steady enough hand).

Do you draw in quick light strokes? If not, that could help u out. Takes practice tho.
