Well she is a partial clone with some of her DNA coming from the woman who conceived her and gave her birth. So basically she is their daughter by artificial conception.

Well, I think the story kinda went along that way. Β But I never had a problem with her as X-23. Β I didn't care for (still buy the comic, as it's an okay comic) her becoming Wolverine. Β Just feels like they're saying she can't handle her own series without an established male character's name.
