Absolutely gorgeous. I would love to use it as the main focal point on my new website. Any issues with this as long as I link back to you for creative credit?
Thanks!

Hyvรค Mattiii!
It's a bit rough, and I would have done the background with a different layer, but that one way cool texture!

this is sweet! I would like it better if the edges were sharper... y'know like a real butterfly EXCEPT for the inner clockwork... but it is still amazing!

I saw this thumbnail and already knew it rocked! You really optimized the techniques used to make great art! It doesnt take an art specialist to love this!

It scares me a little, but Its fantastic. The way you have blended the images makes for a great effect, and the end result is other worldly. I love it.

Oh this cool! I like the merging of the clock work on the butterfly wings, its really nice. The white background really makes it pop.

realitybath: Yes, it is on transparent background. If you'd like, I could post a new image of it with a diffently coloured background (and something extra for the butterfly itself too, possibly).

that's great... do you have the butteryfly with a transparent background(psd)? That way could insert dif colour backgrounds behind it and use it all the time.
good work.

Thank you all for there comments!
In reply to the question of ArsLoqui (and if anyone else is interested) the image is a combination
of three great stock photos blended together in Photoshop, spiced with a hint of Sandman-inspired thoughts (the artists there are Gods). It had probably more to do with finding the right photos rather than
the technical working itself.

This is absolutely amazing. I know that sounds like a trite compliment, but I mean every word. I have a high respect for people who work in the digital art medium--I tried to get into myself, but was utterly overwhelmed. Mad props! Now I know a good magician never reveals his tricks, but come on... how'd you do it?
