It's a long story but here it goes ^^:
I wasn't into the OLDER games like Gold, Yellow etc...because you couldn't trade any pokemon. I was into the anime more than anything when I was really young. But what really began it for me was one day my lil brother's friend comes over and demands to play my brother's Pokemon Colosseum Game. So I watched him as he ran around with an Umbreon and an Espeon on the gamecube...and then I gave it a try..then I demanded I get my own gamecube memory card to play...and that was it. Somehow eventually I was accumulating Pokemon stuff and decided I really wanted to grow my collection. That's what happened, and I never got the chance to thank that kid for changing my life really xD.
I still have my very first Pokemon (The Umbreon and Espeon) to this day..still in the gamecube ^^Β
