Sin isn't made up; I think it's a guilt trip. Anything you personally feel bad or guilty about later is a sin to you; it's a crim against your own nature. Sin can't be a broad topic. It has to be narrowed down to the individual.

well it wasnt right to kill them in our society, but the thing that scared me was when i thought if the serial killer in the movie was right it meant that sin didnt exist at all and he was wrong for killing because of human nature.but in our society sinning is wrong and this killer was out to prove that he would get killed for correcting a mistake(sin) that determines wether our not where made in the image of god or that there is no god and we have our own image.seven is an extremely justified movie in my mind,that was a physic moment.

*re-reads five times* Too sleepy to think clearly. Okay. It was really more topsy turvy than anything. You have the seven deadly sins: Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Anger, Greed, Sloth- No where in here is murder one of them. But, you have to consider the killer's motive behind his murders, or punishment, and I think that is anger. Anger that these people have a disregard for their lives and God's message, etc.. So really, he is commiting a sin himself and deserves to die. Analytically, you could say he did the whole thing to be justly served in the end.
Either way it was a sickeningly awsome movie.
