Description
I am rebuilding everything. That means a universe from scratch, using what old code still seems adequate. I got the cosmic filaments working (you can see them slightly in the background), but galaxies are now formed in a new way, one which is a great deal closer to real galaxy formation. Sadly, as they unfold all their many, maaany stars, galaxies still become fuzzy and smeared. The spiral arms can be seen, but nothing is as crisp as I want it. I know the reason (no guidance in individual star placement, only a large-scale structure), but it is too much for me to chew through at this particular point in time. Galaxies work. Now: Stars and planets!

Oh, and the picture is actually two screenshots put together. It was complete coincidence that they lined up so well they almost look like one picture!
