It does look a bit like an aurora borealis but I reckon it was just a wierd sunset.

Porth Nanven, near St Just, West Penwith, Cornwall, England. The distant rocks are called the Brisons.

Sure is. Slightly further west over a small headland. There were too many other photographers in the actual cove at the bottom of Cot Valley.
