Description
I've been swimming for a few daysAnd the skies above me couldn't look more gray
The dark blue waters have never looked black
and i know, if i quit this buoyancy, i wont come back
The sea weeds, so beautiful, green, choke till I see Night
They constrict my thoughts, my lungs, pointless it was to fight
the coral reef invites to embrace a hug
under the soft sand i feel snug
Sea shells decorate where I lay
Hints of purple, green, yellow, blue, on display
I am an alien to them, in there sea
but they let me sleep, let me be
As i wake up, i stand on the shore
i dive back to feel for more
But i let foam pull my pain away
I taste the salt, on my lips, telling the world
I'm Here To Stay.

I agree, this piece tends to give off a sense of serenity even if it is a heavy subject. Nicely constructed.

I like the colors and the word usage. Some end rhymes (i may be bias against rhyming lol because i'm lazy) seemed forced tho. I actually feel really peaceful when I read this, because you reminded me of the ocean. Thanks
