ok here is the Golden Angel Organisation chart using the template provided by and his awesome 40k ways.
many of you will notice i have some quite rare gear on here and yes i will be adding background to this later.

currently working on emblem and codex cover for the Golden Angels.

background on chapter:

Golden Angel’s origins and history:
The Golden Angels chapter is one of the lost founding space marine Legions and is legion number 2, their Primarch Surak Yaleen was discovered by the Emperor soon after Lion el Johnson on the world of Prism. Surak was a magnificent Primarch and was gifted with the ability to see into the future like his brother Sanguinius, when he was given command of the Emperors Angels he renamed them the Golden Angels in his honour. The legion saw much action throughout the great crusade and won much renown in the annals of Imperial history. Surak and the Legion was scorned though for its use of Xenos and forbidden technology, the Legion believed in co existing with other species and the Legion frequently made peace with Xenos races in exchange for technology giving the Legion some amazing weaponry and other artefacts. When the Emperor found out he ordered Surak to stop and so the Golden Angels only collected Xenos tech from the same races they had made peace with in closely guarded secrecy, burning their once friends. When the heresy broke out Surak sided with his father and used his amazing Technology to hammer Horus’s forces in the eastern rim. After the Heresy Surak was so angered at the outcome he took half the Legion and crusaded into the eye of Terror to fight the very gods of Chaos themselves. The rest of the Legion split down in the second founding and the inquisition soon found out the Golden Angels secret. They were allowed to keep their alien tech and forbidden knowledge in return for providing certain imperial forces with ancient pre heresy artefacts for the Golden Angels forge world of Ferrus prime has unfettered access to ancient designs and rumour has it that they even have a working STC machine deep within the worlds vaults. The Golden Angels now turn their attention to the Tyranid menace and are committed to destroying the Xenos wherever they are, even allying with other races to rid the Tyranids. The Golden Angels also hate demons with a passion and frequently aid any race under demonic attack, for the legion is mysteriously immune to taint... for the reasons of its technological breaches the legion has been scrubbed from the majority of history books.

Homeworld and recruitment:
The Golden Angels Homeworld is called Prism and lies in the eastern spiral arm of the galaxy; it is a giant forge world and has access to the most advanced technology the Imperium has to offer. The Chapter itself has a fortress monastery on he northern hemisphere which is heavily defended by ground based defences. Not only this but the chapter has access to the forge world’s forces as well and the skitarii and guard contingents frequently accompany the space marines on missions using advanced tech to keep pace and not slow the marines down. The chapter can call upon and of the worlds resources like the space forces the world has to offer and also the Golden Guardians the titan legion that resides on Prism, due to the means of production on Prism the Golden Angels are at full complement when it comes to gear and vehicles including the rare imperial jet bike that the Angels frequently use instead of normal bikes.
The Golden Angels recruit from the Forge Worlds gang population and fighting is encouraged below the forges so long as it doesn’t disrupt the production strong candidates are taken away and turned into space marines after extreme mental scanning for any sign of potential corruption, other than this they recruit and function just like a normal codex chapter.

Organisation:
The Golden Angels maintain all the codex chapters rules and keep a total of 10 battle companies, apart from this they also maintain a rather high veteran company and also have a special company of 50 Golden Guard which are revered for their amazing prowess and legends. Each commander of the Golden Angels also is given a particular title like ‘Castellan of the fortresses for example which means the one who watches over the fortress monastery. The Golden Angels also have more apothecaries and chaplains than many other chaplains for they regard both spiritual and physical purity is extremely important.

Geneseed:
The Golden Angels gain their heritage from their Primarch Surak.

Beliefs:
The Golden Angels believe that Xenos, if they are benevolent should be treated as allies and the chapter will frequently fight alongside other races if it means an enemy will be destroyed, they also trade with other species too for technology which the inquisition monitors very closely although many radicals in the ordo Xenos condone this. The Golden Angels maintain that purity and advanced technology are key to the Imperium’s survival and with the Tyranid menace they maintain that the races should unite for if not everything will fall. The Golden Angels also believe their Primarch is still out their fighting and will return for the final battle which is foretold in ancient Eldar texts from the black library. The chapter also harbours a particular hatred of demons and its purity allows the chapter t deal with demonic threats easily (not casualty wise but with no corruption).
