Thomas was raised with his brother under the guidance of his grandmother. His brother being the older one, liked to act as adult like as he could and would often take care of Thomas. His grand mother favoured Thomas and so would frequently dress him up and treat him a bit more then his bother. At some point Thomas had gotten an eye infection, not wanting to bother anyone or seam weak he kept it a secret until it got really bad, when he finally told his grand mother about it, the situation had gotten to the point to where he had lost permanent vision in the eye.

As time went on the boys grew stronger and their grandmother ever more frail, one bad spill occurred when she tried to break up a fight between a couple of he liepards. This fall caused her hospitalization for a while as well as a now noticeable problem with her walking. She decided she could nolonger care for all of he cats and went about putting her four Liepard up for adoption. The purloin she decided to keep only because Thomas begged and pleaded her, he took over taking care of the feline for his grandmother, this was Beck.

The year the boys went to highschool was the year their grandmother passed. Thomas attempted to try to help out through unconventional means, trying to find money where he could so that they could keep going, his other brother got a job at a local store. As they grew older they lived together as they came into adult hood.

As maturity struck in the nature of starting to date for his bother the two began to strike cords with one another. Some nights they would go at each other physically, other nights it was verbal battles. Eventually between the arguing and the pushing by his brother's girlfriend Thomas was kicked out the house.

On the streets he began to give less and less interest in other people, frustrated by his brother's decision he walked with most of his possessions on his back. As the days went on he began to become good at judging when people went on vacations and who seemed wealthy enough. He began sneaking into people's homes when they were gone and using them as sleep spaces. Some nights he would get caught and handled roughly, others he would get luck. He came into a habit of being a light sleeper and sleeping less because of this. Sometimes he would wake up in terror at the sound of even his own peokemon moving.
