"Clack. Clack. Clack. The wooden clack of the creature's geta landing against the floorboards permeated the now silent home. Surveying the area, it continued to caw out it's horrifying messages, though they fell on dead ears. Clack. Clack. Clack. It exited the small abode, looking out at the rest of the village. There were so many more it had to bring it's feted message to... It lumbered to the next house, trailing blood behind it."

Sooo, I did this instead of homework today. Woops.
This wasn't really based on any yokai in particular, but it's a malevolent spirit with a Japanese theme, so... Yokai is close enough-
