Characters name: Matt Duality
My first ever OC way back when I was only 12.
As the population grew more and more souls of those who passed would move on into the underworld to wait for judgement. The problem is judgement never came the Underworld now at capacity can no longer hold the overwhelming number of souls, this lead to the calamity a great explosion of souls burst from the gates of the underworld finding their way back into the mortal realm and possessing the living, those with wills strong enough maintain their possession of their own bodies, find this second soul they have now fuels new powers. this is the story of Matt Duality in a world now turned upside down due to this calamity.
