Description
This scene is taken from the third Dark Tower novel, called the Wasteland. In this scene the five protagonists have travelled into the city of Lud, which bears a lot of similarities to New York, except it has been war-ravaged and almost completely deserted. One of them, Jake, has been kidnapped by a gang of raiders. The main protagonist, Roland, and the intelligent canine named Oy, have set after him to free him. The other two, Eddie and Susannah Dean have been looking for the central station, which holds the cradle of the monorail named Blaine. And Blaine is an A.I. that has been in Lud for many centuries, has control over pretty much the entire city instead of just the monorail, and has gone completely mad over the years.
