Description
Allied forces killing time as they wait for their fleet group to gather.ΒJust finished pulling this environment out of Adjutant. Still needs a little work on the textures, but wanted to have some fun with it. This ended up turning more into a "Where's Waldo" type thing so I rendered it at 6k so more of the details could be seen.Β Made in Blender 2.79.

Yep, that is Ezra. Technically since he started his Jedi training first he probably would have been the master. But in this crazy crossover any thing goes .
Those mechs are from Mech Warrior Online. Mad Cat/Timberwolf on the left and Atlas on the right.Β

Lol, thanks! Sometimes I think I should have put Waldo in there.Β

Hi, I wanted to ask how you added the textures to the hangar. I have the model for the whole thing, but I don't know which files go where, or how to apply them properly.
Also, can I do the same thing with other Halo maps?
I'm also using Blender, though i'm still new to it.

Yes, you can do this with all the Halo maps. Figuring out the textures takes A LOT of time a patience. What stage are you at in learning Blender? Have you tried using the node editor at all yet? Shoot me a note and I'm happy to do my best at answering what questions I can.

Have i mentioned that we're the only two guys with a sci-fi hangar in Blender that mashes up all of the different universes?
I kind of like yours better though it turned out more crisp and clean.

I think yours is fantastic! And I think you are right about the sci-fi hanger. Of course, you made yours. I ripped mine out of Halo 4 and just did a little tweaking.Β
I added a shade more lighting which is probably why mine looks a little more crisp. I love the lighting levels you use though. Only thing I would say to change to really rock your art is add a little more light to where you want to draw your viewer's attention to. You make fantastic scenes, but sometimes I don't know where to focus my attention. You really are a fantastic artist. Really love what you did with Shadow Council!

I don't think I ever asked but were you inspired by my hangar render to do this?

I had not run across your art yet at the time I put this together. This was the first map I pulled when I was learning Adjutant. I had about 3 different animations I was thinking of doing, all of which nothing ever came of. I was trying to think of something fun to do with it and just started throwing characters in there until it became what it is.Β

Ah okay, so we both did a similar thing by coincidence, that's cool.
I was inspired by lonefirewarrior to do what I do

lonefirewarrior is definitely awesome. His use of lighting and field of focus/aperture are pretty amazing.

I agree, not too friendly or interactive with this audience but he is a master at his craft, better than I, I still have a lot to learn with lighting, depth of field and focus though I CAN make models from scratch too and my software is harder to learn so, I think we just about even out haha.

Lol, those last two things are definitely true! I was really impressed the first time I saw your hanger bay. And definitely recognized your energy shield node setupΒ Β . I've tried using that one for a few things. And I just took another look at your hanger and realized that we placed Samus' Metroid ship in the exact same place!

So much cool stuff in this one! What game did you pull your MechWarrior models from?

Mechs are form Mech Warrior Online. These I actually found for Source Film a LONG time ago. They've been pulled down since then so I don't know who the owner is.

Nice, that would have been my guess.Β No worries, I was just curious since seeing Mech Warrior stuff is rare as it is.
