I always wondered how Heather landed perfectly on the matress when she can't even see it..if it were me I'd definately do this

Yep! Silent Hill is one of my favourite game series, so I've played them all (apart from Shattered Memories because I haven't gotten my hands on that one yet), but I do prefer the older games to the more recent ones. SH3 is definitely at the top of the list, though. I'm guessing that you've probably played them all as well?

I haven't played Homecoming ('cause I don't have a PS3 yet ><) or Shattered Memories, I haven't gotten my hands on that yet either. xD
But my fav is Silent Hill 2. I like the first 3 the best out of the series.. Those were classics

I've got a PS3, but somehow I ended up getting Homecoming for my Xbox 360 instead since I let my brother use my PS3 most of the time.
Homecoming isn't my favourite, but I liked it more than Origins. Still, it doesn't have that same feel that makes the earlier SH games so great and I died so many times on some particularly annoying parts! Damn game! XD But I guess it does have some good aspects, since I went back a couple times to replay it. I don't know if you've seen the Silent Hill movie, but I feel like Homecoming ties in more with that universe.
But yes! Yes, I totally agree that the first 3 are the best of the series, as I tend to go back to those more often.

Ohh..Yep I saw the movie, I didn't really like it much..I mean compared to the games I was pretty annoyed about how it turned out xD So that's probably how I'll feel about that game then..still I'll try it out when I can.

Nothing can really beat the games. The first few are my canon, the movie and the later games are some kind of alternative reality. But yeah, check out Homecoming because it's worth trying at least once.
I haven't had a chance to play the older Silent Hills' for a while--Way too long in fact! And all this talk of SH is making me want to play them again (I'm blaming you entirely.

I remember Super Mario 64! But the first games I was playing were on ye old Commodore 64 (I feel old XD), but I guess I didn't get really into gaming until the first Sonic the Hedgehog games came out.

I always loved playing Mario game too. I just remember the sort war Sega and Nintendo had going back then about who was better. XD
I've actually never played any of LoZ, not properly anyway. I did once have a LoZ game that someone gave me, but it was all in Japanese, so I had no idea what I doing, what anyone was saying, so I gave up on it pretty fast. At times I've thought about playing LoZ (preferably in English, he he he), but I've not managed to pick up any of the games because I always seem to end up getting something else. 
I play a lot of games. I don't play Sonic really at all anymore, I mean, I sometimes pick up the new games if I can find them for a bargain price, but they don't interest me as much as they used to. I like RPGs and I've played the Final Fantasy games from 6 to 10 (never got 11, did try to play 12, but I got bored and I haven't tried 13 yet), I like the Persona and Digital Devil Saga games from the Shin Megami Tensei series--Those are really good. Adventure/action games can be good sometimes. I really enjoyed playing Batman Arkham Asylum recently and I've got Tomb Raider and Devil May Cry in my collection. However, I think I probably enjoy playing survival horror games the most, like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Project Zero/Fatal Frame, Dead Rising, all those sort of things.

Yeah, I guess I have played a fair few, he he he. I'd probably play even more if I had masses of money to get all the games that catch my interest. Seriously, I love playing games and I'd do it all day, if I thought I could get away with it. XD
Anyway, on the subject of survival horror, I really love all those that I listed for various reasons, but I suppose that I'd probably pick Resident Evil as my best--gotta love zombies! XD
I will say that the older RE games have more of a scary atmosphere. The new RE 4 and 5 are more action based terror, they don't quite have the same feel to them, but I still love them because they are mega fun to play. I will also say that the voice acting, particularly in the very first RE can be pretty damn atrocious at times, but don't let that put you off because it makes for some amusement. In my opinion, RE2 is the scariest, but I think each of the main games have their fair amount of scares. Also, the games are all linked and a continuation of the story (even though the continuity is a bit off), so you'll get to know a cast of characters that often appear in more than one game. Oh, but if you do decide that you want to check out any of the games DO NOT go near the RE:Survivors or RE: Dead Aim. They really add nothing to main series and they are completely horrible to play. RE: Outbreak you could probably do without as well, as it's not really a part of the main series.

Hmm..
Ocarina of Time is the original, probably best to start out with. It's a long game so It'll keep you busy for a while. If you like it, then next you should try playing Majora's Mask (my favourite one) and Twilight Princess, both of those are awesome as well. Wind Waker is good too, I don't think I enjoyed it as much though (probably 'cause the mode of transport is a sailboat >.> xD It got annoying being at sea so much)

YES! I love sending multiple enemies flying! Half the time they never even get the chance to land in the first place. XD
Bad voice acting amuses me too, especially when it really is so bad that you can't take any of it seriously. Silent Hill is indeed a good game for that, me and my brother tend to quote a lot from that game, and my best friend likes making fun of Lisa's scenes. I have a feeling that you'll really like the first Resident Evil for all the bad voice acting in it. And a lot of the dialogue is just ridiculous! It just makes you think who the hell would say something like that, but it is really funny.
I'll make a note to check out those LoZ games. ^^
